Watford Ladies FC website is now live and can be found at www.WatfordLadiesFC.com.

Originally the club was known as the Supporters Club Ladies Team, but later became known as 'Willy Walker Wonders'.

Watford Ladies FC in its present form is a combination of WatfordLadies F.C and Watford Town Girls F.C and the merger has provided anoutstanding footballing opportunity for girls and women of allabilities.

The website was designed by HotBox Studios to show the energy of their ladies teams, and to allow for them to update the site themselves.

>The site was designed to be bold and punchy - just like their teams.

The content management system for WLFC allows for items such as match reports, photos, and player profiles to be updated.

The site is coded in XHTML transitional and with accessibility in mind- keeping the pages loading quickly, looking good, and allows for fansto keep up to date with the team's progress whether using a mobilephone, a PDA or a web browser.

HotBox Studios have produced a new animation for DC Site Services website's logo.

DC Sites provide services such as event management, stewarding and traffic marshalling to the live event industry - examples include Glastonbury Festival, T In The Park, Reading Festival, Leeds Festival, Hi:fi, and The Big Chill.

DC Site Servicesemploys thousands of staff each year across a wide spectrum of eventsand is therefore by necessity a very flexible and collaborativeorganisation with a good sense of humour. These are the key characteristics the site was designed to portray.

Thefirst build of the DC Site Services website was produced by HotBoxStudios back in 2001, and since then Hotbox have worked closely with DC Site Services indeveloping the site.

The website aids DC Site Services management and administration staff with pre and postevent staff administration, and keeps everyone who works with the companyas up to date as possible throughout the year.

This is all achieved via online application forms,calendars, news areas, online contact forms, forums, mailing lists, galleries and more.

NEMESIS tours to Dieppe, France, performing on November 21, 2004.

The project was created through the support of a Year of the Artist Award from Southern Arts and was made possible by the Arts Council England.

The piece explores the relationship between body, screen and machine and is described as 'extraterrestrial dance meets reality TV'.

At just over one hour long Nemesis captures the image of dance in sound, shifting between scattering beats and warm seductive strings, melancholic melodies and pixelated abstraction.

The project is co-commissioned by South Hill Park, Swindon Dance, Sadler's Wells and DanceEast.

Hotbox Studios produced animation and visual effects for Nemesis (In collaboration with Random Dance and Arts Council England).

The show premiered on March 1, 2002 at Sandler's Wells, London.

.New photos have been added to the John James Newman website.

The photos were taken at London's Shepherds Bush Empire on May 7, 2004.

As the son of Sandy Newman, lead singer of 60's Scottish pop act the Marmalade,John James Newman has always had music in his life. 

The work began atthe humble age of 16 when he left his family and friends to attend the Newcastle College of Contemporary Music

It is here that John formed his most successful venture to date - the four piece rock outfit Mosey

They worked as hard as any band have ever done, gigging, writing and demo-ing but nothing came to fruition and the band disbanded in early 2002. 

Ina bid to continue to learn his craft and take some much needed time outJohn moved to the US. 

He worked stoically as a solo acoustic artistplaying in coffee shops and open mic nights across first the Bostonarea and subsequently around Alaska. 

On his return to England Johnapproached his blossoming career with renewed enthusiasm. 

With acollection of tunes under his belt he set about finding producers towork with and in mid 2005 released his first studio album, Little Whispers.

HotBox Studios 2004 Showreel has been completed.

The DVD includes a animated demo edited to the track 'Intoxicate' byClinical Fidelity - a two piece drum and bass collaboration between part-time musicians Alex Hadley and Steph Hatchard.

The DVD also features the following:

-NEMESIS - a project created through the support of a Year of the Artist Award from Southern Arts and the Arts Council England that explores the relationship between body, screen and machine.

-BodyScript - the culmination of a creative project involving Random dancers and young peoplebetween the ages of 14-19 from Islington and surrounding areas.

-Ice Floe - an annual collaboration between Laban and Greenwich DanceAgency, who have produced a Christmas Youth Dance Project.

-Alpha - a piece in collaboration with Random Dance that looks at the effects of technology on the natural world and explores issues relating to sustainable living.

-Light Atlas - a joint initiative between Laban and Greenwich Dance Agency, bringing together 50 pupils from Lewisham and Greenwich.

-Pills Thrills - a drug-drive documentary-play aimed at 16 to 21 year olds by APE Theatre Company.

HotBox Studios will be performing at the opening night of the Bristol based monkeyBATH charity event on November 27, 2004.

The show is to be held at the newly reopened TRINTY Centre - Bristol.

Hotbox Studios will provide technical and creative consultancy for theevent and produce animation and visuals to be shown throughout theevening.

The monkeyBATH event will be raising funds for Trinity Community Arts -a collective formed to re-open and manage the Trinity Church in centralBristol, and Cherry D - a charity dedicated to helping community based projects, small charities and grass-roots causes in Bristol.

The third edit of the animation and film elements of The APE Theatre Company's piece Pills Thrills @ Automobileshas been completed.

The award winning APE Theatre Company has performed to well over a million people. 

It was set up by Matt Kane in 1988 to produce new plays by young writers, and to give young performers and directors a medium in which to produce their work. 

APE actors have in the past, and continue to feature in a number of high profile theatre, television and film productions.

Hotbox Studios have recently collaborated with APE to produce Pills Thrills @ Automobiles.

Pills Thrills @ Automobiles is a drug-drive documentary-play aimed at 16 to 21 year olds. 

The material is taken from real-life interviews and tells the true story of four 18 year olds in 1997, who after a weekend of drugs and sleep deprivation at a music festival - crashed horrifically on the motorway. 

Two of the victims died; one at the scene and one after being airlifted to hospital.The other went into a coma to leave one surviving passenger who witnessed the whole tragic incident with hardly a scratch. 

The play is APE's first attempt to incorporate video and animation during the performance and the show is expected to tour for over ten years.

Pills and Thrills has been backed by the UK government, A.C.P.O. and debated in the House of Lords.

APE were even invited into the houses of parliament to discuss the show. 

An interim presentation and filming of Pills Thrills @ Automobiles took place at Guildhall - London in August 2003. 

HotBox Studios produced animation, visual effects and film for APE Theatre's Pills Thrills @ Automobiles,and also worked on pre and post production including: research anddevelopment, and post production for live performance projection. 

Priorto the beginning of its forthcoming UK tour - the piece will beperformed between Monday 18th and Friday 22nd October.

The Laser Shot site is a sister site to WMS Firearms Training, and details thefully interactive system - projecting both real and synthesised imagesonto a large screen.

This work also includes additional animation produced for the piece which will be uploaded for viewing to theproject websiteas soon as possible.

As the piece is rehearsed through the summer of2004 - in preparation for it's UK tour, planned to commence inSeptember 2004 - HotBox Studioswill be working with APE's production team in fine-tuning the animationand film elements.

NEMESIS tours to the National Theatre - Vilnius, Lithuania, performing as part of the British Council Dance Showcase on April 30, 2004.

Every year the British Arts Council supports a huge range of danceand drama projects around the world.

From small street art events andworkshops to full-scale touring productions, the Performing ArtsDepartment in the UK works in conjunction with overseas artsmanagers to create dance and drama projects that challenge outdatedperceptions of the UK and create new collaborations and partnerships.
