We have been working with The Barcode Network designing a new WordPress website to promote the Hampshire based company's IT services.
Based in Hampshire, UK, The Barcode Network's goal is to give end-of-life Auto ID equipment a new lease of life. To achieve this the Barcode Network scans the globe for end-of-life Auto ID equipment such as barcode scanners, mobile printers, and EPOS devices. The Barcode Network team then repairs the equipment, before performing rigorous stress tests to ensure all refurbished devices perform as originally intended, and will continue to, before they are sent on to new homes.
Prior to moving into design and development of the new website, we worked with The Barcode Network's team to restructure their existing content into new UX based user journeys. We also worked with The Barcode Network to develop a new company brand identity including a new logo, colour palette and typography.
Moving into development, the new website we've designed for The Barcode Network has been built upon the WordPress Content Management System (CMS). We developed a ground up customised WordPress CMS and WordPress Theme to The Barcode Network website's requirements. Following The Barcode Network website going live; the WordPress CMS allows the team at The Barcode Network to quickly and easily login to add new pages, images, and copy.
We've integrated Elementor Pro into The Barcode Network website's CMS, Elementor Pro offers the team at The Barcode Network visually based advanced web page layout. Using the visual (rather than code based) Elementor Pro editor, The Barcode Network team can edit and update existing web pages and create new pages based on the templates we have designed, without the need for any coding.
The Barcode Network website offers visitors a Mobile First Responsive Web Design (RWD) allowing for The Barcode Network website's content to be optimised for mobile interaction and predictably delivered irrespective of device. The addition of custom mobile device navigation results in a highly optimised browsing experience.
The Barcode Network website includes:
Following completion of The Barcode Network website we provided WordPress CMS training to allow the team at The Barcode Network to keep their new website up to date moving forward.
