Ecommerce, Web Design and CMS Development for Sunglasses for Sport

We've been working closely with the team at Sunglasses For Sport designing a new ecommerce solution, website and developing a custom CMS for the sunglasses retailer.

Sunglasses For Sport is a Hampshire based family run business that was established in 2007. Now one of the UK's leading online stores for sports style sunglasses and eyewear; Sunglasses For Sport offers a wide range of makes and models including sunglasses for children, prescription eyewear, polarised sunglasses, multi-lens sets, and over glasses. Sunglasses For Sport offers speciality glasses for cricket, cycling, horse riding, extreme sports, fishing, golf, running, shooting, skiing and snowboarding, tennis, and water sports.

The new website we've designed for Sunglasses For Sport is based on the WordPress Content Management System (CMS) with a custom branded theme. The WordPress CMS allows the Sunglasses For Sport team to quickly and easily login to the Sunglasses For Sport website to add new pages, images and update copy.

The Sunglasses For Sport website offers visitors a Responsive Web Design (RWD) which allows for the Sunglasses For Sport website's content to be predictably delivered irrespective of device e.g. desktop browser, notebook, tablet or smartphone.

We've developed a custom WooCommerce E-commerce solution for the Sunglasses For Sport which uses the PayPal merchant provider; allowing for online shopping and payments.

The ecommerce solution we've developed offers a 'design your own sunglasses' option allowing for the frame, lenses and more to be customised. We've integrated an abandoned cart email system, custom invoice and shipping PDF generation, shipping costs based on location, address lookup with PCA prediction, coupon and voucher codes, trusted shop with ratings, customised product offers such as 'buy one get second half price' and 'buy one and get a free gift'.

As part of the website and ecommerce development we've imported over 1,000 products and 2,500 associated images from the old Sunglasses For Sport website.

The new Sunglasses For Sport website also offers an integrated MailChimp email digital marketing solution with email templates customised to the Sunglasses For Sport brand.
