We have been working with Reading based employment law firm DPH Legal; further developing and optimising the WordPress website we developed for DPH Legal in 2022 with a focus on page speed using Google Lighthouse Mobile Optimised Web Development best practices, location-based search engine optimisation techniques, and user verification for email based digital marketing.

Founded by David Harris in January 2011, DPH Legal is a niche employment law practice based in Reading, Berkshire. DPH Legal acts for employers and individuals across the UK in relation to the full spectrum of employment law issues. Before forming DPH Legal, David was a partner in the employment team at Darbys Solicitors LLP in Oxford. Prior to this David practised at Manches LLP, a leading commercial law firm.

Location-based search engine optimisation has included:

• Design and development of a new location-based landing page template, based on the existing website design whilst modernised.
• Homepage design and development with an emphasis on incorporation of the new site wide location-based search engine optimisation.

Site-wide search engine optimisation has included:

• Images optimised and converted to WebP using ShortPixel.
• Images offloaded using ShortPixel.
• Critical CSS added into page head and async load via WPRoacket.
• Setup object and page caching on the site using WPRocket.

Email based digital marketing has included:

• Developing a double opt-in for the DPH Legal email marketing newsletter, thus confirming user identity prior to submission and messaging to avoid unnecessary send time minimise bounce reports.

The DPH Legal website is hosted on our Managed WordPress Hosting which runs on UK based Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, includes a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and offers multiple UK availability zones designed and managed in alignment with best security practices and IT security standards. This all provides a fast, secure, and reliable hosting platform for the DPH Legal website.
