Intranet Design and Development for Swiss Post Solutions

We have been working with Swiss Post Solutions designing and developing a new intranet for the digital transformation, document management and information processing company.

The Swiss Post Solutions intranet is developed upon the WordPress Content Management System (CMS). We developed a custom design for the intranet, then a ground up customised WordPress CMS and WordPress Theme to the Swiss Post Solutions intranet’s requirements. Following the Swiss Post Solutions intranet going live the WordPress CMS offers the team at Swiss Post Solutions full control over their intranet including the creation of new pages, adding documents, updating images and copy.

The Swiss Post Solutions intranet offers visitors a Mobile First Responsive Web Design (RWD) allowing for the Swiss Post Solutions intranet's content to be optimised for mobile interaction and predictably delivered irrespective of device. The addition of custom mobile device navigation results in a highly optimised browsing experience.

The Swiss Post Solutions intranet includes Gutenberg block-based admin, custom Relevanissi based search based on page and document location – with search results separating document and page results into one of three key areas, multiple user levels for each custom pillar, setup of an Apache Tika server for document search processing, and Microsoft Active Directory integration.
