Music Angel Social Power is now using our PAAM Volunteer Recruitment and Management Web Application

Music Angel Social Power works in partnership with festivals to bring their Music Angel Social Power recharge project to festival goers.

The Music Angel Europe Social Power recharge project has been created to fund a charitable project to provide light to the children of Rwanda. The money generated by the sale of one portable rechargeable battery to a festival goer is enough to provide light to one Rwandan child for up to 5 years.

The batteries that are sold to festival goers for £20 each can be swapped at the festival up to two times for fully charged versions, and once taken home can be recharged up to 500 times.

For each battery sold at a festival another can be given to a child in a Rwandan school with a USB LED light. The funds generated by the festival sales also allow for solar panels to be installed on the school roofs allowing for the batteries to be recharged and providing a long lasting sustainable light source.

Music Angel Social Power is recruiting volunteers to help them with managing the project at the Latitude Festival, Reading Festival and Leeds Festival.
