PAAM Offsite Cloud Software App updates for The Big Bang Fair

We've been working with The Big Bang Fair adding new features to their PAAM Offsite Software App.

The Big Bang Fair is an award-winning UK event for young people that celebrates science, technology, engineering and maths (STEM). Targeted at young people aged 7-19, The Big Bang Fair combines exciting theatre, interactive workshops, exhibits and careers information from STEM professionals. Starting in 2009 and attracting 6,500 visitors, The Big Bang Fair has grown to attract an audience of nearly 70,000 in 2015!

The Big Bang Fair wouldn't be possible without the large team of volunteers they recruit each year to help run the event. The Big Bang Fair volunteers help out across the event by demonstrating and explaining the experiments, and inspiring the young audience to get involved. The Big Bang Fair volunteers gain a huge amount of the experience too, learning new skills in communication, problem solving and teamwork, plus being offered the opportunity to gain events experience and network with local and national employers.

We've added new features to The Big Bang Fair's PAAM Software App which include:

• Post Event Attendance Records - a new feature added to the post event page to record if a volunteer has attended or not.
• Event Info - consolidation of the Event Info page and Overview page to display all event information on the volunteer's PAAM overview page.
• Group Totals - the addition of group totals to each group and event day.
• Sub Groups - the creation of sub groups allowing for volunteers to be assigned to groups and days and for this to be displayed for easy reference.
• Auto Group Emails - automated emails sent to volunteers when they are added to a sub group.
• Availability and Cancellation - the ability for volunteers to update their availability, for a change to automatically remove them from any group and day outside of their available times and notify The Big Bang Fair team.
