Victoria Hall Hartley Wintney Website Design and WordPress Web Development

We have been working with The Victoria Hall (Hartley Wintney) Charity developing a new WordPress website for the community centre based in Hartley Wintney, Hampshire.

The Victoria and Jubilee halls are the well-known hub of the vibrant and growing Hartley Wintney community, hosting a variety of events including live music, theatre, weddings, parties, clubs and classes. The Victoria Hall has a long history dating back to the opening by Lady Calthorpe on 20 October 1898, built by The Parish Council in order to commemorate Queen Victoria's Diamond Jubilee. In 1921 it became the Edward Hall, built to commemorate the reign of King Edward V11. In June 1996 the Victoria Hall Charity and Management Committee formed and took an active role to restore the Hall to its original design, whilst providing modern facilities that would sustain the building for a further 100 years. In recent years, there have been many highlights including the construction of the stunning Jubilee Hall in 2012.

The new website we've designed for Victoria Hall has been developed upon the WordPress Content Management System (CMS). We developed a ground up customised WordPress CMS and WordPress Theme to the Victoria Hall website's requirements. Following the Victoria Hall website going live the WordPress CMS allows the Victoria Hall team to quickly and easily login to add new pages, images, and copy.

The new Victoria Hall website offers visitors a Mobile First Responsive Web Design (RWD) allowing for the Victoria Hall website's content to be optimised for mobile interaction and predictably delivered irrespective of device. The addition of custom mobile device navigation results in the new Victoria Hall website having a highly optimised browsing experience.

The Victoria Hall website is being hosted on our Managed WordPress Hosting which runs on UK based Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, includes a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and offers multiple UK availability zones designed and managed in alignment with best security practices and IT security standards. This all provides a fast, secure, and reliable hosting platform for the new Victoria Hall website.
