Web App Development for We are Futures Deloitte Virtual Coaching Hub

We have been working with We are Futures developing a Virtual Coaching Hub for Deloitte.

We are Futures is a youth engagement agency with expertise in delivering Education, Brand, Talent and Social impacts, helping it clients to achieve measurable commercial and social results by connecting them with the dynamic world of under-25s.

We Are Futures came to us in need of a web application to help the employees of its client Deloitte in providing educational sessions for students, graduates, charities, and good causes. We have worked with We are Futures to develop a highly customised version of our PAAM web application, developed to act as a Virtual Coaching Hub, matching the Deloitte employees volunteering their time with students, graduates, charities and good causes looking for educational sessions.

The We are Futures Deloitte Virtual Coaching Hub includes three user types with unique flows:

1. Students and graduates
2. Charities and good causes
3. Deloitte employees

Students and graduates can set the times and dates they are available for one on one coaching sessions, selecting the area or skill they would like assistance with.

Charities and good causes, managed by the We Are Futures team, can choose the times and dates they are available for both one on one and/or group coaching sessions, selecting one or more areas or skills they are looking for assistance with.

Deloitte employees can then search for students, graduates, charities, and good causes which are looking for virtual coaching they can assist with. Virtual coaching opportunities can be filtered by time, date, and topic. Once a match has been found, the Virtual Coaching Hub creates a Microsoft Teams meeting request which is sent to all parties, with follow-up email reminders as the coaching session moves close.

For the We Are Futures team the virtual coaching hub offers administrative features including a calendar-based overview of all sessions booked, comprehensive user search and filtering, customisable email templates and meeting invites, user management, statistics, and granular export functionality.

Technical development on the Scripture Union web application has included a completely custom front end using bespoke CSS, JavaScript, PHP and HTML, Microsoft Teams API integration, email automation with customisable variables, and bespoke iCal integration.

The We are Futures Deloitte Virtual Coaching Hub web application includes a wealth of functionality by design, and as a responsive mobile friendly cloud-based system is accessible from anywhere in the world on any device. Being a custom designed web application, as We are Futures' requirements change, their system can evolve with them, new custom features can be developed and added on-demand to fit the developing needs of the students, graduates, charities, good causes and Deloitte employees using the We are Futures web application.
