Web Design and WordPress CMS Development for Evolution Sunglasses and Eyewear

We have been working with the team at Evolution Sunglasses and Eyewear designing a new website and developing a custom WordPress Content Management System (CMS) for the Hampshire based Sunglasses and Eyewear company.

First manufactured in 2007 Evolution Sunglasses and Eyewear currently comprises over 90 different models including polarised sunglasses, multi-sport and cycling sunglasses, category 4 and ski eyewear, safety eyewear, archery eyewear, shooting eyewear, and prescription eyewear. Evolution Eyewear is also the UK's best-selling shooting eyewear brand!

The new website we have designed for Evolution Sunglasses and Eyewear is developed upon the WordPress Content Management System (CMS). We developed a custom design for the website, then a ground up customised WordPress CMS and WordPress Theme to the Evolution Sunglasses and Eyewear website's requirements. Following the new Evolution Sunglasses and Eyewear website going live; the WordPress CMS allows the team at Evolution Sunglasses and Eyewear to quickly and easily login to add new pages, images, and copy.

The Evolution Eyewear website offers visitors a Mobile First Responsive Web Design (RWD) allowing for the Evolution Sunglasses and Eyewear website’s content to be optimised for mobile interaction and predictably delivered irrespective of device e.g. desktop browser, notebook, tablet or smartphone.

We've integrated Advanced Custom Fields Professional (ACF Pro) into the Evolution Sunglasses and Eyewear website’s CMS; allowing for custom post and content structure across the Evolution Sunglasses and Eyewear website and CMS.

The new Evolution Sunglasses and Eyewear website’s ecommerce solution is provided using WooCommerce with integrated Payzone and PayPal merchant providers, and PDF invoice customisation. The WooCommerce solution with multiple merchant providers offering customers greater payment flexibility on store checkout. The PDF invoice customisation allowing Evolution Sunglasses and Eyewear to adjust their invoice templates as required moving forward.

We have also worked with Evolution Eyewear to develop a custom search for the new website, making it as easy as possible for customers to find the sunglasses and eyewear they are looking for.

A customised Mailchimp integration allows for targeted email marketing to Evolution Sunglasses and Eyewear's customers, whilst Google Font integration allows for website elements to be predictably delivered to the website's visitors.

The new Evolution Sunglasses and Eyewear website also offers a trade customer login with trade specific pricing and simplified one-page ordering and checkout.
