Web Design, Ecommerce, and CMS Development for Blue Orchid Bakery

We've been working closely with the team at Blue Orchid Bakery designing a new website with custom CMS and ecommerce solution.

Located in Wokingham, Berkshire, Blue Orchid Bakery creates amazing cakes, brownies, cupcakes, sweet treats, afternoon tea and more for all occasions including weddings, birthdays, celebrations and events. Nearly all of the cakes and treats created by Blue Orchid Bakery cater for vegans, diabetics, egg free diets, gluten free diets, and dairy free diets.

The website we've designed for Blue Orchid Bakery is based on the WordPress Content Management System (CMS) which allows the Blue Orchid Bakery team to quickly and easily login to the Blue Orchid Bakery website to add new pages, images and update copy.

We've integrated a WooCommerce based E-commerce solution into the website which allows for online ordering and payments via PayPal.

We've developed an online booking system to allow for booking of the Freak Cake Stand for weddings and events, and for hire of the Blue Orchid Bakery cake stand.

The Blue Orchid Bakery website offers visitors a Responsive Web Design (RWD) which allows for the website's content to be predictably delivered irrespective of device e.g. desktop browser, notebook, tablet or smartphone.

The new Blue Orchid Bakery website also offers digital marketing solutions including Instagram social channel integration and Mailchimp email marketing integration.
