Website Design, Development, and Managed WordPress Hosting for Egis Aviation

We have been working with Egis Aviation designing a new WordPress website for the global aviation company.

For over 50 years Egis Aviation has been dedicated to ensuring safe, seamless and sustainable aviation for all who fly. Egis has provided innovative consultancy, design and engineering solutions to institutions, ANSPs, airport operators, and airlines through almost every significant change in the industry. Egis boasts one of the largest dedicated aviation teams in the industry comprising 300 consultants, engineers and experts based globally who help shape aviation policy, design and build major aviation infrastructure and operate 17 airports.

The Egis website is developed upon the WordPress Content Management System (CMS). We developed a custom design for the website, then a ground up customised WordPress CMS and WordPress Theme to the Egis website's requirements. Following the Egis Aviation website going live; the WordPress CMS allows the team at Egis to quickly and easily login to add new pages, images, and copy.

We integrated Advanced Custom Fields Professional (ACF Pro) into the Egis website's WordPress CMS; ACF Pro allows for custom post and content structure across the Egis website and WordPress CMS.

The Egis website offers visitors a Mobile First Responsive Web Design (RWD) allowing for the Egis website's content to be optimised for mobile interaction and predictably delivered irrespective of device. The addition of custom mobile device navigation results in a highly optimised browsing experience.

The Egis Aviation website includes Gutenberg block based admin, custom post and content structure, live filtering of blog posts based on categories and tags, automatic infinite scroll on scroll for insights blog posts, complex AND/OR insights filtering combined with main topic filtering, image lazy loading, custom JavaScript and CSS, newsletter integration, custom SVG map integration with interactive detail, HTML5 video header backgrounds, custom Web Fonts.

The Egis Aviation website is being hosted on our Managed WordPress Hosting which runs on UK based Amazon Web Services (AWS) infrastructure, includes a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) and offers multiple UK availability zones designed and managed in alignment with best security practices and IT security standards. This all provides a fast, secure, and reliable hosting platform for the new Egis Aviation website.
