SpeedLink Transport Umbraco Web Design

We designed the SpeedLink website to be driven by the Umbraco 7 Content Management System (CMS); this provides the SpeedLink team with a comprehensive web based management area allowing them to update the SpeedLink website from their office. We incorporated member functionality into the Umbraco CMS which allows for assignment of specific roles and system access.

The SpeedLink website incorporates Responsive Website Design (RWD); meaning the website is PC, Mac, Tablet and Smartphone friendly and can adapt to different screen sizes and browsers.

The website design includes customised quote engine integration with the REST API, customised web forms integrated with the Sage CRM, a shopping cart with SagePay integration, full on-site website search powered by Lucene, location detection, targeted service landing pages for Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and AdWords.

The website makes use of HTML 5 background video elements, customised web forms for email contact, customised Google Maps and branded location icons, Webfonts using Typekit, and international clocks with auto updating.

Additionally the website offers a protected and secure drivers and staff area.

As part of the design process we also created mirrored websites for SpeedLink’s Toronto and Calgary offices.
